TRANSLATION AND LOCALIZATION
The adaptation of any content to a target language requires more than just the literal, word-for-word translation. We also consider the cultural and non-textual, as well as linguistic, components when adapting a product or service for another country or locale.
We work with the most common languages but we are not limited to them. Contact us about translations for rare languages too.
REVIEW AND PROOFREADING
Whether translated to or written in the target language, it is necessary to eliminate potential inaccuracies and even adapt the content so that it faithfully reflects its purpose. We edit for cohesion, consistency, accuracy, and appropriateness, delivering a high quality final project.
The faithful and comprehensive conversion of audio and video content to written text requires attention to detail and deep linguistic knowledge, and is often used for training, advertising, interviews, meetings, lectures, and other events.
DUBBING AND SUBTITLING
Overlapping the original audio track with the target language (dubbing) and inserting translated text in sync with original speech (subtitling) are both inclusive tools you can use to help customers and collaborators understand your material better, and add value to your video project.
We offer the convenience of being able to conduct multilingual projects without the need to hire different agencies and professionals. We ensure the efficient management of your project by translating, reviewing, and performing any other tasks required to conclude your project by the agreed upon deadline.
Aware of the increasing demand for new media, we offer multimedia production and management services including video, audio, text, digital learning, and other media, in addition to script and storyboard preparation, production, editing, and management.
A language style guide is essential to any project as it allows translators and proofreaders to work in accordance with the voice you want to bring to your customers, using the language and patterns best suited to your project. A Translation Memory database is a key part of the process of successfully bringing your materials to your target audience. We create and manage these databases, keeping your translation memory updated, standardized, and ready for use.
DIGITALIZATION AND DESKTOP PUBLISHING (DTP)
Having your project translated, localized, and reviewed is often not enough. You must recreate the original file's layout and graphic quality in order to bring the same visual message to your customers, regardless of their language.
MACHINE TRANSLATION POST-EDITING (MTPE)
It has already been demonstrated that machine translation can improve productivity and speed workflow up. However, translators are key at the final stage of the process. This includes reviewing, correcting and re-arranging machine translation output, enhancing the quality and productivity of the project.
When dealing with creative content, it can be challenging to translate correctly while capturing the same meaning and nuance in another language. This is common when translating content such as slogans, speeches, films, etc. Here the main focus of the translation is on the meaning and the intended reaction of the audience, compared to a normal translation of a text. To ‘transcreate’, the translator needs to read and understand a text, then rewrite it in the target language, taking into account context and culture, values and visuals, and much more.
A certified translation, or public or sworn translation, validates documents issued in a foreign language. Our official sworn translators are responsible for translating a document from one language to another, attesting to its legitimacy and making it official in the country of destination.
